Jebel Hafeet Field Trip

24, 25 and 26 November 2004

We held a field trip to view a number of interesting outcrops in the Jabel Hafeet area. The field trip took geological discussion into account but more focused on the impact of the rock formations on logging tool responses – and the possibilities of reconstructing subsurface properties where the only data is from wells that are one or two kilometers apart.
