Multidimensional Reservoir Characterization

Abu Dhabi’s 8th SPWLA Topical Conference title is Multidimensional Reservoir Characterization and will be held at Le Royal Meridian (Abu Dhabi). During the three day conference, regional and international experts will discuss current and evolving techniques for determining reservoir rock characteristics in three dimensional space and understanding the impact on fluid dynamics in space and time, from the pore to the field scale..

The Technical Committee is seeking abstract submissions on:

• Reservoir property measurement and prediction (fractures, permeability, SW).
• Deep Look fluid movement monitoring: Electro-Magnetic, Seismic.
• Horizontal well property characterization during and after well placement.
• Continuous real time monitoring of reservoir dynamics (i Field).
• Identifying and quantifying borehole and reservoir fluid flow dynamics through advancements in production log technology.
• Pore system at the micro / meso / macroscopic scale, their identification and impact on saturation and fluid flow dynamics.
• Case Studies demonstrating the use of logs and core to characterize reservoirs.
• Open Hole log identification of flow units.
