The Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts has some 34 active chapters spread around the entire world. There are chapters in: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, France, Gabon, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, USA: Austin, Bakersfield, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Lafayette, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, UK; Aberdeen, London, and Venezuela. It is therefore with quite a bit of pride that we announce the Abu Dhabi Local Chapter won the Outstanding Chapter Award for 2004 in recognition of its consistently effective service to its members!
